This album was recorded entirely in Matt Weidauer's in-law's basement where he was living in 2013. Weidauer stated "I was touched by the spiritual journey George Harrison had taken throughout his life and career. I set out to re-create some of my favorite Harrison tracks but wanted to paint them with my own thoughts and feelings through new musical arrangements. My wife was pregnant with our first daughter at the time so I was filled with a lot of happiness, hope, fear, and excitement. Listening back I think you can hear some of those sentiments in the music."

"I chose 7 songs because the number 7 was a sacred number for George Harrison. I thought it would be poetic to keep it at that."

"This was a fun album to work on, I remember trying different variations on vocal reverb. What you hear on the recording is me hanging a mic in my shower and recording in there because the sound was just SO good."

On March 27, 2014 Matt played the album in its entirety with a full band at Velour Live Music Gallery in Provo, UT. That band was as follows:
